Oh poor bloggie
Abandoned in cyber space. I cannot keep up with the technology.
I am a cyber idiot. But hey! I am turning into a hell of a knitter..At least of stranded socks, which you can check out pictures of on Ravelry.com where I am laurajean60. I am quite proud of my sock knitting skills. I'll post pictures here later, possibly much later, but eventually.

I'm Baaaaack!
I joined Ravelry and pretty much quit blogging. I have done a lotta socks and a rug or two since i last posted. I don't know if I can keep up with this blog. I have now made several pair of "stranded socks" Yay! I made up the socks from patterns I liked. I pictures posted on my Flickr account and on Ravelry, but I have very little patience for updating my computer skills and posting pictures. Every damn site is different...

No time for blogging
I have been knitting and making a rug. I will post pictures soon. I have been busy learning the craft of knitting and practicing. Have made numerous socks and am now knitting them with sock yarn.

No picture!
I am making a second star sock for Dave. 'Bout halfway done... He'll actually have two socks that sort of match..
Have been working my butt off fixing the kitchen. That is refinishing all the cabinet doors and painting all the cabinets and refinishing parts of the exteriors. I quite happy with the progress.
It's raining, raining, raining. Tomorrow it's not supposed to rain so the poor dog will get a walk and I can varathane outside so I don't stink up the house.
I planted some basil and cilantro today. I think I'll just buy some parsley. It takes forever to germinate.

Star Sock
One down, one to go. I have knit more socks than I have posted. this one needs a mate to be a pair. But soon Dave will have a matching pair of these.
I have also modified one of the first rag rugs I made, but no time to post a picture of that today. Besides, I like it, but I can do a lot better and am fixing up some rags to do so.
